We are seeking an experienced and imaginative person to drive our student storytelling, ambassador and alumni strategy. With responsibility for shaping insight‑led, multiplatform content and championing our global student ambassador programme, this role suits someone who blends strategic vision with hands‑on creativity. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where authentic student voices are at the heart of everything we create.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Lead the development and execution of our student ambassador and alumni plans – driving growth and engagement.
- Create and build a database of our alumni who are happy to engage to aid our storytelling and content generation plans, and maintain their interest through engaging outreach activities.
- Expand the current student ambassador programme beyond the UK and Ireland as the business grows into new geographical regions.
- Oversee incoming requests and the sourcing, briefing, and direction of contributors – including staff, ambassadors, and alumni – ensuring content collected is aligned with core marketing objectives and brand standards.
- Support the curation and creation of innovative content; test and measure a diverse range of student‑first content, ensuring all outputs are insight‑led, high‑quality, and aligned with strategic marketing objectives.
- Frequent travel across UK Centres to build strong relationships with ISC staff, students and alumni, uncovering narratives and incorporating them into the content collection and distribution plans.
- Supervise the editing and optimisation of captured content to produce impactful, engaging, multi‑format stories.
- Ensure widespread use of content across multiple channels.
- Increase visibility of available content.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content toolkit tailored to each stage of the student journey.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to align content production with wider strategic initiatives and audience priorities.
- Lead coordination of shoots, UGC initiatives and student participation, supporting Centre teams and Content Executives with guidance, expertise and creative direction.
ABOUT YOU
- Excellent organisational skills, with experience in project support and proven ability to coordinate across teams and deliver initiatives on time.
- Strong prioritisation and planning skills to manage a high level of in‑bound requests and balance quick wins with long‑term goals.
- Experience defining KPIs and success metrics.
- Proven experience in designing and scaling ambassador and alumni programmes (desired).
- Experience in international education or storytelling.
- Workshop facilitation or Ambassador onboarding/training experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong team player who thrives in a fast‑paced and changing commercial environment.
- Strong written English, great attention to detail and proven proofing skills.
- Confident relationship builder across Centres and International Study Centre (ISC) teams; able to coach Content Executives and Centre staff.
- Ability to translate audience insights into a multi‑platform content strategy that drives growth and engagement.
- Expert at identifying, shaping and elevating student/alumni narratives.
- Line management: ability to mentor colleagues, giving structured feedback, and uplifting creative standards.
- Creative problem‑solver who’s comfortable with both hands‑on and strategic work.
