Salary: up to £26,520 per annum

The Progression Engagement Coach’s role is to support students’ progression needs both face-to-face and online, and to work closely with the Senior Progress Transition Coordinator and the academic team to monitor students’ achievements and implement interventions for successful progression to the University of Surrey.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of tutorial sessions, 1-1 support and guidance, establishing a programme of activities to help students develop skills and confidence outside the classroom in preparation for their transition to our partner university. This will require excellent people skills, a good level of administrative ability and initiative.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Acting as a personal tutor to deliver Academic Success tutorials and provide 1:1 personal development, academic and progression counselling to students.
  • Collaborate within the network to design and create learning materials around study skills, welfare topics and employability for Academic Success tutorials.
  • Update and maintain the virtual learning environment with relevant resources.
