The Wellbeing Engagement Officer’s role is to support students face-to-face and online. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of services and processes consistently providing an excellent student experience. This will require excellent people skills and a good level of administrative ability. The post holder will provide first level support and referral to specialist services as required and establish a programme of activities to help students develop skills and confidence outside the classroom.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ensure effective case management of all welfare concerns and LDHD students, creating and maintaining accurate records in the student information management system in line with GDPR requirements.
- Ensure the safeguarding of students in line with Study Group policy and procedure and acting as a point of contact for any member of staff who has a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a student.
- Provide 1:1 welfare and pastoral support to students, referring them for additional support where required from external services.
- Support the creation of Support Plans for students.
