The Wellbeing & Engagement Officer’s role is to support students face-to-face and online.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of services and processes consistently providing an excellent student experience: This will require excellent people skills and a good level of administrative ability. The post holder will provide first level support and referral to specialist services as required and establish a programme of activities to help students develop skills and confidence outside the classroom.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Ensure effective case management of a caseload of LDHD(Learning Difficulty, Health and Disability) students, creating and maintaining accurate records in the student information management system in line with GDPR requirements
  • Provide 1:1 welfare and pastoral support to students, referring them for additional support where required from external services
  • Support the creation of Support Plans for students and monitor the engagement and effectiveness
