Studweldpro-UK Ltd is seeking a reliable, motivated, and adaptable General and Studwelding Site Operative to join our team. Based out of our head office in Tuxford, this varied position combines site installation work across customer premises throughout the UK (and occasionally further afield) with hands-on workshop and warehouse duties when you are not required out on site. Key Responsibilities On-Site Duties: Marking out and fixing of shear studs onto beams, sheet pilings and plates. Fixing of weld studs and refractory anchors to furnaces, flares and thermal units etc, and the installation of ceramic fibre blanket and boards. Working at our clients sites throughout the UK and possibly beyond. Flexibly on site, including handling short-notice travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekend assignments. Workshop & Warehouse Duties (Head Office): Assisting with day-to-day workshop and warehouse operations. Operating equipment including lathes and presses. Cutting bricks and handling product packing for dispatch. Maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment. Candidate Requirements Teamwork & Initiative: Strong work ethic, dependable, and trustworthy. Able to work collaboratively as part of a site team while maintaining the confidence to work independently when required. Flexibility: Willingness to travel at short notice, stay overnight, and work weekends when client projects demand. Experience: A CSCS card and prior experience operating basic machinery or working on site/in a workshop is a plus, but full training will be provided. Full Driving License: You will be required to drive the company vans to and from site and for any deliveries so will need a full manual UK driving license. What We Offer Training provided across all site processes, machinery, and tools. All required PPE. On-site parking at our Tuxford head office. Opportunities for overtime over 40 hours per week paid at a premium 1.5 x rate, and paid travel/overnight allowances. An extra 5 days holiday at the start of the next holiday year after 5 full years of service. xohmjla Starting rate of £13 per hour.
