We are seeking a Senior 3D Designer who is confident in crafting these stand-out moments from concept to execution at an impeccable level, as part of our London Creative Studio.
The Role:
As an experiential and spatial designer in our studio, you play an integral role in delivering our most impactful retail spaces and experiences. Creating brand worlds through pop-ups, windows, permanent retail, exhibitions and brand activations to an industry leading level, with considered design and engaging storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Creative Delivery: You pair visionary design ability with strategic insight at a senior level to design and shape innovative spatial solutions that are aligned with client goals.
- Ways of working: With the support of a Design Project Manager, you design to a wide variety of briefs, from initial creative concept to fully resolved designs into production/installation, with a razor-sharp eye for detail and execution to a world-class standard across all aspects of the process.
- Communication: Your communication skills elevate design narratives, influence broader project success, capture clients, and offer clarity. You regularly share your proposals with both internal senior creatives and external clients at the highest level. You create presentations that stand out and communicate your creative thinking to our studio standard, delivering them with confidence and consideration.
- Collaboration: A specialist in cross-department collaboration, you oversee your projects with a razor-sharp eye for detail and execution to ensure the creative intent at all stages. You collaborate with in-house technical, production, and workshop teams to bring your designs to a world-class execution.
- Leadership: You report to an Associate Design Director for guidance and mentorship, but as a senior within the creative studio you bring your skills, expertise, and experience to mentor and foster the development of more junior team members. You lead your projects and champion creative excellence across our studio.
- Innovation: Every creative in the team continues to seek new ways of solving design challenges. You are an integral part of this culture and champion the studio's focus on sustainable strategies.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of 3D design experience in a creative agency or luxury/fashion brand.
- Experience in a retail design and/or architecture team.
- Ability to realise design intent with expert 3D modelling and rendering skills in Rhino, SketchUp, V-Ray, and the full Adobe Creative Suite (C4D and Blender are also supported).
- A creatively diverse individual who enjoys cross-discipline collaboration, explores concepts with innovative design thinking, and demonstrates highly conceptual storytelling.
- Expert understanding of luxury brand aesthetics, tone of voice, and brand positioning.
- Proven confidence in delivering large-scale projects within a retail experiential environment on time and to budget, with a strong understanding of materials, fabrication, and assembly processes (particularly within a luxury setting).
- A highly motivated individual who works in an agile way, with strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload, and the capability to manage multiple projects.
Location: East London studio (E10)
Hybrid working: 3 days a week in our creative studio as a team & 2 days WFH
Working hours: 9am - 6pm (flexible working hours and days are available)
