StudioFFE, a leading furniture manufacturer, are looking for skilled and dedicated Furniture Assemblers to join our team. We are a modern and progressive company with a large order book. Due to high demand, we are currently seeking Furniture Assemblers to join our team with an immediate start.

As a Furniture Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, efficiently assembling various furniture items following established procedures and quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assembling various furniture items using a wide variety of hand and power tools in a fast-paced and stringent manner.
  • Checking for any defects or inconsistencies during the assembly process and taking necessary corrective action in line with the company's quality standards.
  • Prepping furniture items for delivery to clients or to site by packaging and labelling them correctly.
  • Cleaning and maintaining machinery and tools, ensuring they are well looked after and in good working order.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety around the workshop.
  • Assisting other team members in various tasks, as required.

Requirements:

  • Furniture assembly experience in a manufacturing or related workshop setting is preferred.
  • Experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools for assembling furniture.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to assist in other workshop duties, as required.
  • Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and bending or crouching in awkward positions.

Must be able to start with immediate effect.

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
