This role is responsible for supporting the business through IT support, coordination, and administration. In addition to day-to-day support, this role will assist the Technical & IT Manager in implementing various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all IT related queries, dealing with all staff on the ground in the London office providing an efficient customer service experience.
- Purchase IT equipment including obtaining quotations, seeking approvals and completing the ordering process.
- Liaise with our external IT support company regarding system and user requests.
- Offer PC and Mac support, including software-related queries.
- Prepare for new starters (e.g. creating accounts, liaising with Group IT).
- Set up PCs, Macs and staff mobile phones.
- Assist with meeting room equipment when needed.
- Monitor and change backups.
- Manage the telephone system including amending data and passwords and coordinating with support.
- Install applications (e.g., Office365, Group applications, Adobe software).
- Manual setup of computers, monitors, telephones, cabling, etc. in the office.
- Oversee organisation of the IT area (e.g., auditing, upgrading and tidying up IT equipment & cabling).
- Audit and back up staff mailboxes.
- Audit and liaise with staff regarding housekeeping of files and folders.
- Assist with ad-hoc UK & Group projects.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office applications (plus Mac OS would be preferable).
- Very good communication skills in person and on the telephone.
- Ability to prioritise and excellent time management skills.
- A passion for IT.
