StudioB is looking for a brilliant and inventive Editor to help us shape the future of online storytelling full-time in London! We’re a fast-growing, proudly chaotic creative studio with 25M+ followers across YouTube, TikTok, and beyond and we make content that actually gets watched. From VFX spectacles to viral bangers, dating shows to parody trailers, our videos are seen by millions and shared across the world. Now we’re looking for a video editor who isn’t just fast – they’re fearlessly creative, obsessively plugged into internet culture, and have a deep love for storytelling in all its forms.

You’ll be editing long‑form and short‑form content across a huge range of forms and formats, and take part in the brainstorm and creative process. You’ll also help shape and support a small post‑production team so that everything runs smoothly, on time, and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Craft Stories That Connect: You’ll turn raw footage into videos that hook, entertain, and resonate – whether it’s a 20‑minute behind‑the‑scenes video, a snappy 30‑second TikTok ad, an engaging and entertaining format show on YouTube – your edits will carry personality, pace, and polish.
  • Own the Cut: You’ll edit across YouTube, TikTok, Reels and more, and understand how pacing, sound design, and structure shift across platforms. You’ll shape everything from first roughs, time‑remapping, sound design and final colour.
  • Shape Internet Formats: We’re constantly inventing new content, and we’re especially interested in candidates who have edited long‑form social formats before. You’ll help bring those formats to life and evolve them with your own flair.
  • Lead & Support a Small Team: You’ll help manage and mentor a small team of editors/assistants: keeping projects on track, supporting day‑to‑day priorities, giving constructive feedback, and helping ensure everyone is clear on deadlines and expectations.
  • Build Smooth Pipelines & Folder Hygiene: You’ll champion tidy projects and clean servers, from folder structures and file naming to version control. You’ll work with Production and VFX to implement efficient, repeatable pipelines that make delivery smoother, reduce friction, and keep the whole operation running clean.
  • Support Resourcing & Hiring: You’ll collaborate with the Head of Production to flag resourcing needs, help scope workloads, and support hiring as the team grows, from giving feedback on candidates’ reels to helping onboard new editors into our way of working.
  • Collaborate & Contribute: At StudioB, everyone is part of the creative process. You'll be in brainstorms, pitching format ideas, and helping elevate every project from good to great.

What we’re looking for:

  • A Creative Storyteller – You have a sharp instinct for rhythm, structure, and emotional beats. You can build a narrative from chaos.
  • A Social Native – You live and breathe digital culture. You know why something pops on TikTok, or what makes a cut work on YouTube.
  • A Sharp Editor – You’re proficient in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro. Bonus points for After Effects, motion design, or VFX know‑how.
  • A Systems Thinker – You care about clean projects, organised folder structures, and smooth pipelines. You’re the person who hates messy timelines and loves refining processes so the whole team moves faster.
  • A Supportive Team Lead – You’re excited by the idea of guiding a small team: giving feedback, unblocking others, and helping keep schedules, priorities, and people on track.
  • A Versatile Collaborator – You’re excited to work across genres and styles, from comedic to cinematic, documentary to sketch.
  • A Self‑Starter with Taste – You bring ideas to the table, have opinions on what makes good content, and want to help define the StudioB look and feel.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Creative Freedom: You’ll be trusted to shape edits your way, and encouraged to push boundaries.
  • Big Audiences, Real Impact: Your work won’t sit in a drive – it’ll be seen by millions, shared globally, and shape internet culture.
  • No Day the Same: One day it’s working on the sound design for a VFX spectacle, another day it’s high‑energy branded ads, and the next it’s polishing the edit for a dating format. It’s fast, fun, and full of surprises.
  • Brilliant Team: Join a group of creators, producers, and artists who are as collaborative as they are ambitious.
  • Room to Grow: As we expand, so do opportunities. Bring your ambition – we’ll meet it.
