The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Wholesale Sales Intern to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in sales strategy, retail account management, and brand activation within the beauty and wellness industries. You’ll work closely with the Account Executive to support key UK and US retail accounts, contributing to the success of high-growth brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Support
- Assist the Sales Manager in preparing for bi-weekly calls, quarterly meetings, and seasonal line reviews.
- Help maintain and update client contact lists and spreadsheets.
- Support day-to-day communication and follow-up with retailers and client teams.
- Sales Operations
- Assist in creating sales reports, analysing data, and tracking performance metrics for key accounts.
- Help prepare sales decks, presentations, and proposals tailored to each retailer.
- Support onboarding processes for new wholesale accounts.
- Retail Marketing & Activation
- Coordinate with trade marketing teams to organise retailer-specific initiatives (sampling programs, in-store displays, events, training).
- Assist in managing timelines and deliverables for retail activations.
- Training, Store Visits & Reporting
- Help organise in-store staff training sessions and materials.
- Deliver weekly store visits to key retailers to monitor and report on the in-store environment.
- Document and share observations on merchandising, product placement, competitor activity, and promotional compliance.
- Provide actionable insights to improve retail execution and visibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure smooth execution of go-to-market plans.
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure meetings, projects, and launches run efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle industries.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable with data analysis and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a growing business.
