Studio Seilern Architects is hiring an interior designer to join its team in London.

About Studio Seilern Architects: Studio Seilern Architects is a London and Florida based international creative practice established in 2005 by Christina Seilern RIBA with the intent of producing exceptional, transformational architecture that lasts, working across geographies, building sizes and typologies. Our diverse portfolio of built work spans the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

You’ll work on large-scale, design-led corporate offices for global brands – the kind of projects where every detail matters and good design makes a measurable impact.

The role:

  • Minimum of six years’ post-graduate experience with a strong background in large-scale high-end workplace projects.
  • Lead design research for projects, particularly during concept development. The task includes activities ranging from finding mood images for a particular design approach to establishing information about the specific site.
  • Understand SSA’s stylistic design standards to ensure they are adhered to at all stages of a project.
  • Delivery and management of drawing packages, specifications, and schedules. Ensuring SSA standards are executed.
  • Ability to understand the complexities of design and finishing details. Strong knowledge of joinery detailing.
  • Highly organised and resourceful with a keen eye for colour, materials, and details.
  • Strong knowledge of suppliers, collating and delivering FF&E design schemes.
  • Ability to work across all RIBA work stages with an in-depth understanding of UK building regulations and codes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the design team and suppliers. On-site experience during construction phase and confidence to deal with contractors is desirable.

Qualifications and IT skillset:

  • Degree level in Interior architecture or interior design.
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit, Adobe Suite, and visualisation tools like SketchUp, Enscape or similar.
