We are looking to recruit highly motivated, self-organised and attentive individuals to join our tax and accountancy department.

From the very beginning of your career, you will work as part of a team on high quality clients from a wide variety of sectors, including aviation, fashion, digital, energy, infrastructure, engineering and HNWIs. You will gain and develop the strongest technical and analytical skills in accounting and taxation, growing knowledge, critical sense, and valuable practical expertise on both the most common and unusual technical matters. As a Trainee, you’ll experience the power of collaboration as you work with diverse teams on real projects, building lasting connections with colleagues and start off by learning the fundamentals, including:
- Working on audit preparation assignments with your team.
- Analytical reviews.
- Preparing accounts and producing sets of financial statements.
- Analysing, summarising, and reconciling client accounting records.
- Preparation of tax accounting calculations.
- Analysing financial data of a complex nature.
- Carrying out tax research and summarising findings in a clear manner.
- Learning about PAYE and draft PAYE advice.
- Corporation tax compliance.
- Corresponding with HMRC to assist with any enquiries.
- Preparation of tax notes for accounts and reporting.
- Responding to queries from finance functions and auditors.
- Collating information on a client’s tax position to prepare for a meeting.
- Study for professional qualifications (e.g. ATT, CTA).
