Description
We are looking for an ambitious designer to join our five-strong team in Shoreditch, London. Under the mentorship of our senior designers, you will design and deliver a broad range of projects, from digital interfaces and branding to occasional publishing work. As a vital member of our small team, you will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and clients to understand project goals and create progressive design solutions.
While the primary emphasis is on digital design, our adaptable studio environment may occasionally offer opportunities to broaden your skill set and explore new areas.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio showcasing projects from concept to delivery.
- 1 – 2 years of experience working in a design studio environment.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both the team and clients.
- A contemporary design sensibility, with particular interest in interactive principles and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to understand requirements and propose creative strategies.
- Develop high-quality designs for digital, branding, and print projects.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth handover and address technical limitations.
- Communicate with the project manager and design team to keep projects on track.
- Participate in studio-wide conversations about projects, including those outside your direct responsibilities.
- Document design processes and deliverables for internal and client-facing use.
- Contribute to improving internal tools, workflows, and processes.
