We are seeking a reliable and proactive Temporary Catering Assistant to provide holiday cover during April and May. Full training will be provided prior to commencement of the role. The role is based at the Plodder Lane Office, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 0NN. This is a varied and hands‑on position supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of our meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, and front‑of‑house services. The role would suit someone who can work Monday to Friday, 08:30‑16:30 and is available for short‑term temporary cover from 7th to 10th April 2026 and 11th to 22nd May 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and setting up refreshments (drinks, biscuits, buffet lunches) for meetings in advance of start times
- Clearing, cleaning, and resetting meeting rooms after use
- Providing ad‑hoc refreshments for staff and visitors
- Monitoring and restocking kitchen supplies
- Liaising with catering supplier
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and hygienic working environment
