The role at Studio Modou evolves our concepts regularly, which gives you continual opportunities to develop your skills and broaden your knowledge across a variety of cooking styles. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, assisting in supervising the team and coordinating the delivery of high quality dishes in a busy and fast paced kitchen environment. You will be eager to develop your own skills while supporting the growth of those working alongside you.

As a Junior Sous Chef at Studio Modou, you will:

  • Assist with controlling and overseeing seasoning, portioning and presentation
  • Demonstrate and promote teamwork within the kitchen and with the wider studio team
  • Communicate clearly, lead confidently when required and collaborate effectively
  • Show a strong understanding of food, modern preparation techniques and food safety
  • Commit to delivering a first class experience for every guest
  • Bring a positive attitude, strong multitasking ability and a willingness to learn
  • Display excellent organisational skills and perform well under pressure
