We are looking for designers to help us create functionally beautiful interiors for our clients; using their industry knowledge and creativity within the overall Studio LBI aesthetic.
This is a Full time role working on a hybrid basis, between our Glasgow studio and home.
Responsibilities :-
• Ability to manage projects from concept to completion with oversight from senior team members.
• Take responsibility for the development of own projects including digital design presentations, visuals, sketches, plans, elevations and sample mood boards.
• Excellent CAD skills to communicate drawings to clients, site and suppliers.
• Experience of designing bespoke furniture and joinery.
• On-site experience of handling contractors and arranging site meetings.
• Efficiency in keeping specifications, schedules and sampling up to date across the timeline of a project.
• Broad supplier knowledge and the ability to select materials specific to a project and budget.
• Contribute to presentations and pitches for projects.
• Strong communication skills to manage clients, suppliers and trades.
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Calmness and a good sense of humour!
Skills :-
Intrested candidates are likely to have the following profile
• BA in Interior Design/ Architecture or equivalent
• 3-5 years of industry experience
• Proficient in Autocad, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Excel and Sketchup
• Broad knowledge of UK suppliers of furniture, fabrics and hard finishes
• UK driving licence/willingness to travel is preferable
