The role requires a balance of precision, efficiency and creative problem-solving within a collaborative studio environment.
We are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience in complex compositing workflows, including building layered composite imagery from multiple photographic and CG sources.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver high-end retouching across commercial campaign imagery from automotive, product or fashion, combining multiple elements from different sources (photography, stock and 3D render passes) and integrating into seamless final visuals.
- Execute high quality of work including skin retouching, product enhancement, background extensions, advanced colour matching to products with meticulous attention to detail, alongside expert colour grading and mood treatment for both digital and print outputs.
- Interpret creative direction and ensure imagery aligns with brand standards.
- Prepare production-ready files across multiple formats and specifications.
- Manage retouch workflows including file structure, version control, and asset organisation, and carry out quality control checks to ensure accuracy of assets.
- Collaborate closely with internal creative and production teams to maintain consistency across projects.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years professional retouching experience within commercial advertising or creative studio environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including strong experience working with complex composite imagery built from multiple layered sources.
- Practical experience working with or integrating 3D render passes into final imagery (highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of photographic workflows and RAW image processing.
- Experience working to brand guidelines and art direction.
- Excellent attention to detail and visual consistency.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Desirable (not essential):
- Bachelors degree in Design, Photography, Digital Arts or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience collaborating with CG teams or working within hybrid 2D/3D pipelines.
- Capture One or Lightroom workflows.
- Basic motion or compositing knowledge (After Effects).
- DaVinci Resolve - editing and/or colour grading.
- Contribute creative input during post-production and visual problem-solving stages.
What we're looking for:
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset, comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- Confidence working with technically complex imagery builds.
- Reliability in managing deadlines and delivering consistent quality.
- Ability to critique your own work and iterate effectively.
- Openness to feedback and collaborative iteration.
This is an opportunity to join a vibrant creative studio environment producing high-end visual work across a diverse range of projects.
