We are an international performance marketing agency and pride ourselves on our obsessive approach to delivering profitable marketing solutions. Driven by our purpose of making ideas perform, Studio 34 collaborates with a range of brands from indoor skydiving to hospitality, real estate and beyond.

With a hybrid remote model, it is a diverse workplace where autonomy is encouraged and excellence rewarded. At Studio 34 you’re an individual with every opportunity to flourish. You can step up to work and opportunities that excite you, and be recognised for it. Our environment is one of collaboration and problem-solving – be prepared to challenge and be challenged, learn and lead, and roll up your sleeves.

Our purpose is centred around four core values which are key for the work we deliver, but are also personal values we seek in all team members:

  • Be curious. Challenge the obvious and seek knowledge
  • Think big. Stay vision-focused and pursue new ideas
  • Go beyond. Be proactive and take the extra step
  • Own it. Embrace your impact and be the solution

As a Performance Lead, you will set the direction for total digital acquisition, ensuring a holistic approach that integrates organic (SEO, content, referral, etc) and paid media to drive maximum ROI. You’ll combine world-class communication skills, and strategic vision with hands-on know-how—designing frameworks for growth, spotting new opportunities, and ensuring campaigns deliver measurable impact. Proactive, entrepreneurial, and commercially focused, you’ll bring leadership energy to inspire both clients and colleagues, while continuously pushing for innovation in our approach. This role is suited to someone who thrives on owning outcomes, shaping strategy, and leading the way with new ideas, testing frameworks, and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic leadership: Define performance marketing strategies that align with client business goals—across acquisition, engagement, and retention, with a full 360 degrees view of the marketing funnel and customer journey. Develop integrated search strategies that balance SEO and SEM to dominate search engine results pages (SERPs) and increase blended ROI. Oversee the synergy between organic social content and paid amplification to ensure a seamless brand experience. Proactively identify new opportunities, channels, and tactics to drive competitive advantage and growth. Act as a thought leader internally and externally—challenging conventional approaches and driving innovation in performance marketing. Build testing roadmaps and experimentation frameworks that unlock learning and scale.
  • Client & account growth: Lead strategic conversations with clients—bringing fresh ideas, insight, and recommendations that drive and evolve their performance marketing maturity. Translate business objectives into measurable KPIs, ensuring performance strategies deliver ROI, CAC, LTV, and beyond. Proactively grow client accounts by spotting untapped opportunities and framing them as clear, actionable initiatives.
  • Campaign excellence: Oversee performance across all acquisition channels, including SEO, organic social, and earned media, alongside paid channels (SEM, Social, Programmatic), ensuring they work in tandem rather than in silos. Champion a culture of test-and-learn, ensuring creative, audience, and funnel strategies are continuously optimised. Ensure campaign reporting is not just descriptive but insight-led—turning data into actionable recommendations and strategic next steps.
  • Team & agency impact: Mentor and inspire the performance team—helping colleagues develop skills, confidence, and curiosity. Collaborate closely with creative, analytics, and activation teams to ensure a joined-up, innovative approach. Contribute to agency growth—leading pitches, refining processes, and shaping our performance marketing proposition.
  • Collaboration and innovation: Work closely with creative, analytics, and activation teams to ensure campaigns are insight-driven, aligned, and innovative. Bring proactive ideas to the table, challenging teams to test new approaches, formats, and emerging technologies. Act as a connector between strategy and execution, ensuring cross-functional collaboration leads to fresh, effective solutions. Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute to pitches by developing performance-first strategies that inspire confidence and excitement.
  • Analytics and performance tracking: Own performance measurement frameworks—establishing KPIs, benchmarks, and tracking systems that align with business goals. Establish KPIs for organic growth, including keyword rankings, organic share of voice, and domain authority, alongside traditional performance metrics. Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Looker Studio, Tag Manager, Power BI, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Search Console, attribution models, etc.) to deliver actionable insights. Regularly review campaign data to identify patterns, diagnose issues, and highlight opportunities for scaling. Ensure reporting is clear, consistent, and strategic—translating numbers into insights that clients and internal teams can act on. Continuously evolve measurement approaches, exploring advanced attribution models and automation to improve performance tracking.

Required skills & experience:

  • 5+ years in performance marketing with proven results scaling campaigns and achieving ambitious KPIs.
  • Track record of developing and executing strategies that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of core platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, programmatic DSPs, affiliate, email) with the ability to guide and challenge execution.
  • Expertise in the full marketing mix, with a proven track record of managing SEO strategies and organic growth initiatives in addition to paid media scaling.
  • Experience in Content Strategy and Technical SEO to drive non-paid traffic and improve website conversion fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, able to interpret complex data sets into actionable strategy.
  • Highly proactive—always seeking new opportunities, approaches, and technologies to push performance further.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to inspire confidence with clients at all levels.
  • Experience leading and mentoring team members, fostering growth and innovation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on delivery when needed.
  • Proven ability to analyse performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience managing content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools, with a focus on amplifying content across multiple channels.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
