The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Support the delivery of key controls across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Banking processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Maintain and update banking files to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts.

Prepare and distribute various weekly and monthly statements to internal stakeholders.

Perform daily reconciliations and receivable allocation to maintain accuracy and integrity.

Complete daily check tasks to ensure all transactions are processed correctly, and controls are operating effectively.

Provide first-line support to consultants and internal business partners, answering enquiries efficiently and professionally.

Prepare audit evidence and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

Support month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Work closely with offshore teams to ensure seamless delivery and maintain service standards.

Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies across Transactional Finance operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with an ability to communicate clearly with finance and non-finance individuals.
  • Understanding office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF) and AI tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation.
  • Experience or interest in transactional finance areas (AP, AR, Banking, Reconciliations).
  • Ability to work with financial systems and reporting tools (Power BI, portals).
  • Attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy in financial data.
  • Logical approach to problem solving.
  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial controls.
  • Ability to perform accurate daily reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, balancing daily tasks with monthly deliverables.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, particularly during month-end periods and awareness of the importance of cut-off procedures.
  • Strong customer service approach with a solutions-oriented mindset when answering enquiries.
