ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY FCM Travel is a global travel management company experiencing significant growth and looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to join our European sales team. You'll play a key role in generating new business opportunities and building strong connections with prospective clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy sales environment and is passionate about developing a successful sales career. You'll work closely with global colleagues, sales leaders, and sales operations teams while contributing directly to business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with decision-makers within target ICP accounts and schedule introductory meetings for the FCM sales team.
  • Execute outbound prospecting activities and sales cadences using Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
  • Manage inbound marketing-generated leads and convert opportunities into qualified meetings.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives globally to maximise pipeline generation and align with best practices.
  • Utilise LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, Highspot, and other marketing technology tools to support prospecting and lead generation.
  • Accurately track and manage sales activity within Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide support for industry event management initiatives.
  • Build awareness of FCM's solutions and value proposition through proactive outreach.
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects through professional and effective communication.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous inbound and/or outbound sales experience with responsibility for generating qualified pipeline opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in cold-calling and prospect engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles and remain motivated while working towards targets.
  • Curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding customer challenges and identifying suitable solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple deliverables.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Team-oriented approach with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience using prospecting and sales technology tools including LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and Highspot preferred.
  • Previous travel industry experience preferred but not essential.
