Duties:
- Assist with cost planning, estimating and budget preparation for construction and maintenance projects.
- Support the preparation of bills of quantities, schedules of work, tender documents and contract information.
- Assist with procurement processes, tender analysis and contractor appointments.
- Support contract administration, including valuations, variations, payment notices and cost reporting.
- Monitor project expenditure and help identify cost risks, savings and value-for-money opportunities.
- Contribute to final account preparation and project close-out activities.
- Work closely with building surveyors, project managers and design colleagues to support effective project delivery.
- Prepare clear reports, records and updates for clients and internal teams.
Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline with a willingness to progress to chartered status
- Good numerical, analytical and commercial awareness.
- Strong communication skills with a positive, collaborative and client-focused approach
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage workload across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Salary:
35-37,000 per annum
