Night OwlLocation : Vincent Place, Southampton
Salary : £17,409.60 per annum
Hours : Average of 24 hours per week, working 2 shifts per week between 8pm to 8am.
Term : Fixed term for 6 months
About Student RoostStudent living is about so much more than just a room, it\’s about feeling at home. You will be the first point of contact for residents between the hours of 8pm and 8am. From running onsite events and facilitating late‐night room viewings to collecting rent and liaising with overseas agents, being busy is what you do best. You\’re an important part of our residents\’ stay, supporting students who might need to report a maintenance issue, collect a parcel, ask for directions or simply need to chat. Every interaction matters, which is exactly why you matter.
What You\’ll Be DoingAs the night shift guard you will:
Serve as the first point of contact for residents during late hours.
Organise and host onsite events.
Facilitate late‐night room viewings.
Collect rent payments.
Coordinate with overseas agents.
Respond to maintenance requests.
Handle parcel collection and general inquiries.

Confident providing exceptional resident experience, handling enquiries, and resolving issues.

Tech savvy – ability to learn new systems quickly and have good knowledge of MS Office.
Organised and detail‐oriented, with strong communication skills.
Comfortable with sales, taking payments, following processes, and keeping accurate records.
Resilient, able to stay calm whilst dealing with complex welfare or anti‐social behaviour issues.
No prior property experience? No problem! We\’re looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a passion for great customer service.
Solutions orientated, with the ability to think on your feet.
