Join the Customer Service Advisor – Student Accommodation role at Student Roost

Location: Vincent Place, Southampton Salary: £10,218 with overtime paid at 1.25 x hour rate
Hours: Average of 15 hours per week (contracted to 780 hours annually) between 8am to 8pm.

What We’re Looking For: We’re not just looking for experience, we’re looking for the right attitude!

Skills & Qualities

  • A People Person – friendly, approachable, and great at building relationships.
  • Confident providing exceptional resident experience, handling enquiries, and resolving issues.
  • A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Tech savvy – ability to learn new systems quickly and have good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable with sales, taking payments, following processes, and keeping accurate records.
  • Resilient, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, particularly during busy periods
  • No prior property experience? No problem! We’re looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a passion for great customer service.
  • Solutions orientated, with the ability to think on your feet.

This role follows an annualised hours model, meaning your hours will be distributed flexibly throughout the year to meet business and seasonal demands. However, your salary remains consistent every month. Details will be discussed at interview.
