ABOUT THE ROLE:

About the Role Are you looking for a temporary summer role where no two days are the same? We are currently looking for Housekeeper to join a busy student accommodation site over the summer period.

You’ll play an important role in helping to ensure the accommodation and communal areas are clean, safe, welcoming and maintained to a high standard for residents, visitors and staff.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across student accommodation.
• Cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, kitchens, corridors, stairwells and other shared facilities.
• Carrying out deep cleans and turnaround cleans when required.
• Identifying and reporting any damage, maintenance issues or missing items.
• Supporting the housekeeping, maintenance and wider site teams with day-to-day tasks.
• Ensuring cleaning materials and supplies are used safely and appropriately.
• Following all relevant health & safety procedures and site guidelines.
• Responding professionally and courteously to resident and customer queries.
• Working efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and deadlines.Adapting to changing priorities during busy periods.

About You

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Organised, with excellent attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the working day.
• Confident communicating with residents, colleagues and site teams.
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, hotels, residential properties or student accommodation is desirable but not essential.
