Role: Mail Operative

Salary: £23,810 per annum (full-time equivalent)

Type: 12-month fixed-term contract, part-time role (30h, salary will be pro-rated)

Location: Llandudno

Pension: 28.97% employer contribution

Student Loans Company is a non-profit making Government-owned organisation to provide loans and grants to students in universities and colleges in the UK. Since 1989, we have enabled our customers to invest in their futures by delivering secure, accurate and efficient assessment, payment and repayment services.

SLC now have an exciting opportunity for a Mail Operative to join our Wales office in Llandudno. In this role, you will be assisting with the processing of all incoming and outgoing mail and operating mailing equipment in a safe manner. We are looking for someone who enjoys providing customer service to our staff and has good communication and organisational skills. The working hours for this role will be Mon-Friday 8-2pm but we are flexible if your preference was for less hours and working a schedule of 8-12pm Monday to Friday.

SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
