Salary: £48,000 – £53,177 Annual

About the Role

SLC now have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Developer to join our Technology Group. This role you will work closely with developers QAs and analysts and managers within an agile team to support delivery of change and improvements. You will also work with in support of the Technical Design Lead a number of internal stakeholders across architecture and wider technology teams. If you enjoy identifying issues within complex problems speaking with stakeholders on different projects and supporting a culture of innovation don’t hesitate to apply for this role.

What you bring

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems
• Development approach pair programming requires closely working with development team
• An understanding of server‑side web applications and knowledge of more than one programming language (we use a range of languages including PL SQL Java Clojure JavaScript & Ruby)
• Proficient Oracle SQL and PL / SQL programming experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban)and Tools such as PVCS Git Jira and Confluence
• Experience of Oracle Forms and Reports.
