About the role: SLC have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Programme Manager to join our Change and Data Directorate. In this pivotal role, you will shape the future of SLC by leading a suite of interdependent projects that deliver real transformation across the organisation. You’ll be at the heart of driving change, overseeing end‑to‑end delivery of complex business transformation, and ensuring we’re fully equipped and ready for the innovations ahead.
Your expertise in governance, quality assurance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement will be essential as you create the conditions for successful delivery. This is a chance to make an impact—helping guide SLC through meaningful, high‑profile change that benefits our colleagues and the customers we serve.
What you bring:
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and programmes, with expertise in both traditional and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent technical acumen, which may include leading the team to deliver the design, build, test and transition into production for bespoke and off-the-shelf software, hardware, infrastructure solutions, data migration, integration and other technology solutions or business processes.
- Relevant procurement and implementation experience where appropriate which may include the implementation, configuration, customisation, integration and transition into production of business packaged software, security or other specialist technical software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organisational levels, and build and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams in complex matrix environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including MS Office Suite and financial lifecycle management.
