Responsibilities

  • Deliver value by forming a direct, collaborative relationship with stakeholders to maximize efficiencies and address change, operational delivery, problem resolution, and policy assessments.
  • Ensure the execution of full end‑to‑end processes for applications, assessment and payment to students and learners is enabled by dependable, timely and accurate information from service partners.
  • Ensure the end‑to‑end processes for payment to Delivery Partners achieve SLC “Pay” commitments.
  • Maintain high levels of satisfaction from service partners so that SLC receives support, endorsement and insight to enable continuous improvement.
  • Possess a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills; confident and articulate presenter.
  • Ability to influence decisions and agree actions with internal customers and external stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships and influence internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse and present information and data clearly and concisely.
  • Uses initiative to resolve issues and is confident in ability to make decisions.
  • Track record of good time‑management, with ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Experience at providing external‑facing relationship management, and in managing business‑to‑business interactions.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and developing working practices, for self and others.
  • Flexibility on working hours and ability to travel extensively and regularly within UK (inclusive of NI), often overnight.
