About the role:

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring organisational data is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose, supporting effective decision-making and an excellent customer experience. Working closely with Data Owners and stakeholders across the business, you will help design and implement robust data quality processes, contributing to the organisation’s mission of delivering trusted and accessible services.

In this role, you will investigate and analyse data quality issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions, while defining and monitoring data quality rules, controls and performance metrics. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote best practice, support governance activities and drive continuous improvement in data quality across the organisation.

What you bring:

  • A demonstrable understanding of data quality principles, data management frameworks and best practice approaches to improving data integrity
  • Experience analysing complex data sets, identifying issues and performing root cause analysis to support effective remediation
  • A demonstrable understanding of database design, data structures, schema design and data mapping concepts
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and partner with stakeholders to embed data quality standards across the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights and produce clear, data-driven reports
  • Experience defining data quality rules, metrics and performance indicators to monitor and improve data over time
  • A demonstrable understanding of data protection requirements and governance standards
  • Previous experience working with data quality tools or supporting data quality improvement initiatives in a complex environment
