About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager where you will deliver value by forming a direct, collaborative relationship with higher education providers (HEPs, including universities / colleges). You will be responsible for the two‑way service interactions between the Student Loan Company (SLC) and HEPs, ensuring that timely and accurate student data is provided to enable the payment of tuition fees, loans and grants which supports the student’s education journey.
In addition, you will deliver training and guidance to HEPs through an annual engagement programme that will enable and equip HEPs to meet the requirement of SLC Service Standards, ensuring that:
- The execution of full end‑to‑end processes for student finance applications, assessment and payment to students and learners is enabled by dependable, timely and accurate information from service partners.
- The end‑to‑end processes for payment to Delivery Partners achieve SLC “Pay” commitments.
- The levels of satisfaction from service partners are high enough for SLC to receive support, endorsement and insight to enable continuous improvement.
Please note that this role requires a Full UK Driving Licence as you will be required to travel within a defined region within the UK.
