Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of catered events: set up, service, breakdown & clean up.
• Interact with customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Assist coworkers.
• Ensure standards for quality, safety, sanitation and presentation are met.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Show responsibility for scheduled shifts.
• Ensure timely execution of the event.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and workspace.

Qualifications & Skills

• No experience required; foodservice experience helpful.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and be a self‑starter.
• Good time management skills.
• Attention to detail.

Dress Code Requirements

• Shirt with sleeves, full length pants, black apron (provided), name tag worn, closed‑toe shoes.
• Higher end events: black slacks (not jeans), white dress shirts, black shoes, black socks, name tag worn, black apron (provided).
• Please have a white long‑sleeve dress shirt and black slacks on hand.
• Clothes should not be form‑fitted or revealing.
• Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back.

Special Working Conditions

• Lifting required.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for an extended period.
• Must be able to transport food and supplies to various locations on campus.
• A valid driver’s license preferred (optional).
