Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of catered events: set up, service, breakdown & clean up.
- Interact with customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Assist coworkers.
- Ensure standards for quality, safety, sanitation and presentation are met.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Show responsibility for scheduled shifts.
- Ensure timely execution of the event.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and workspace.
Qualifications & Skills
- No experience required; foodservice experience helpful.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and be a self‑starter.
- Good time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
Dress Code Requirements
- Shirt with sleeves, full length pants, black apron (provided), name tag worn, closed‑toe shoes.
- Higher end events: black slacks (not jeans), white dress shirts, black shoes, black socks, name tag worn, black apron (provided).
- Please have a white long‑sleeve dress shirt and black slacks on hand.
- Clothes should not be form‑fitted or revealing.
- Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back.
Special Working Conditions
- Lifting required.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for an extended period.
- Must be able to transport food and supplies to various locations on campus.
- A valid driver’s license preferred (optional).
