Position Description
Position Summary: These positions care for one or more of the following duties in Central Campus buildings during the school year, including but are not limited to: Event preparation (Set Up/Tear Down), Trash/recycling removal, and General Cleaning. There are many different shift options available to work with your class schedule.
- Days and/or Evening hours
- Weekday and/or Weekend hours
- 1 to 20 hours a week (based on your availability and request)
- Option to pick up extra hours on a weekly basis (please ask about this option)
Major Preferred Experience Required: None, will train.
Experience Preferred: Any previous employment, cleaning, event set up.

Dress Code Requirements: Jeans or modest shorts, closed toed shoes. No Pajamas, Yoga pants or Sweat pants.
Special Working Conditions:
- Work schedules are arranged around class schedules
- Regular workday usually 1 to 3 hours per day/night
- Weekday and weekend hours available
- Must possess full range of physical motion and be able to stand or walk for long periods of time as demanded by cleaning/event set-up tasks
- Some positions must work the night before classes start
- Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals
Primary Duties:
- Clean campus buildings for class and group usage. This may include the use of various cleaning equipment such as upright or back pack vacuums and other cleaning machines.
- Follow standard cleaning procedures and an outline of work as determined by the Building Supervisor.
- Remove trash and recycling.
- Complete set up and tear down for events; may move furniture.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties:
- Collect lost and found items.
- Other duties as assigned.
