The Opportunity
StubHub International is seeking a highly skilled Performance Marketing Manager to lead our paid search strategy and execution within a fast-moving ticketing marketplace environment. We’re looking for a marketer who is a true paid search expert first, with deep experience managing complex, event-driven search programs — and who can also contribute meaningfully across other acquisition channels such as affiliate, SEO, and/or paid social. As a member of the marketing team, you will drive efficient customer acquisition, scale intent-based demand, and strengthen the overall marketplace flywheel. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment with large inventories, constantly shifting demand, and high-velocity search behaviour.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end paid search strategy and execution across Google and Bing, including branded, category, and event-level campaigns.
- Build and optimize search and event-based keyword structures, ensuring broad, mid-tail, and long-tail coverage appropriate for a live event marketplace.
- Develop and manage Dynamic Search Ads (DSAs) and structured page feeds to capture emerging and long-tail event traffic at scale.
- Use advanced levers such as audience segmentation, query sculpting, bid strategies, and market/event-level optimization to maximize efficiency and volume.
- Manage daily pacing, forecasting, and budget allocation to meet CAC, ROI, and marketplace GMV goals.
- Analyze performance data to uncover trends, opportunities, and insights related to event cycles, marketplace dynamics, and consumer search behaviour.
- Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, brand, product, and analytics teams to align search strategy with priority events, promotions, and market trends.
- Support and eventually own broader acquisition efforts across channels such as Affiliate, SEO and Paid Search.
- Ensure cohesive cross-channel acquisition funnels, working to strengthen retargeting paths, attribution visibility, and customer journey efficiency.
- Stay current with platform updates, emerging search trends, and marketplace-specific acquisition strategies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on paid search experience, ideally in in-house e‑commerce or a high‑volume marketplace (ticketing experience is a plus but not required).
- Deep expertise with Google Ads and Bing Ads, particularly in large‑scale, high‑intent search environments.
- Experience managing DSAs, page feeds, event‑based structures, or other dynamic formats common in marketplaces.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience contributing to or directly managing additional acquisition channels (affiliate, SEO, or paid social).
- Proven track record driving efficient customer acquisition and scaling spend profitably.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage fast‑moving priorities tied to event cycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with YouTube or other video‑based acquisition channels is a plus but not required.
What we offer
- Flexible work that fits into your life.
- Competitive salary.
- Permanent contract.
- Good work environment is very important for us.
- Cultural diversity and international teams.
- Other perks: private medical insurance, life insurance, pension plan, meal tickets, time off and other benefits.
