This is a challenging role that blurs project management responsibilities with the duties of a scrum master in a dynamic start-up environment, across both Stubben Edge and Jaywing. You will coordinate technology planning across multiple development teams, products and projects, while helping manage the groupwide delivery roadmap for prioritisation and delivery. You will also be managing client projects for the Jaywing Agency arm, managing resourcing and client communications. Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and key business stakeholders, the Junior Project Manager should act as the translator between Technology and the wider business. Working to implement strategic groupwide initiatives from initiation, through feasibility, analysis, delivery and launch, while documenting and tracking progress.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project Management: identifying and assessing risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring the timely resolution of impediments.
  • Project resource and capacity planning, identifying key project resources and stakeholders, taking into account BAU work and annual leave.
  • Scrum Master: Apply Agile principles and practices, facilitate daily stand-ups, introduce, manage sprints and prioritise the backlog.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies and manage project/product releases to meet the needs of the business.
  • Hold regular retrospectives focusing on continuous improvement, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects and enhancing team efficiency and effectiveness.
