About the role
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in propelling our company to new heights? As a Key Account Manager at Stuart, you won’t just manage accounts - you’ll be a driving force behind our expansion across the dynamic Retail, Grocery, and Food sectors. Imagine being the architect of strategic relationships with some of the most iconic brands on the high street and beyond. You will be responsible for nurturing and scaling a portfolio of enterprise-level partners, ensuring Stuart remains their primary choice for last-mile logistics. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Account Management for the UK.
What will I be doing?
- Strategic Growth: You will create, manage, and implement bespoke growth strategies for your portfolio of key Retail, Grocery, and Food accounts.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: You will drive revenue by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to scale service adoption and partnership value.
- Target Alignment: You will set and agree on ambitious growth targets for your clients, ensuring these goals align with the overarching strategy of their respective verticals.
- Relationship Management: You will build deep, ongoing relationships with key decision makers - from C-suite executives and Business Owners to Operations Managers and technical teams.
- Stakeholder Advocacy: You will ensure your key accounts are satisfied by effectively communicating their needs to internal stakeholders and influencing action across the business.
- Retention & Mitigation: You will proactively identify churn risks within your portfolio and implement robust action plans to mitigate them.
- Presence: You will meet clients face-to-face and maintain a consistent cadence of regular calls and check-ins to stay ahead of their needs.
- Product Expertise: You will become a power user and expert in our Product, Platform, and Operations to better consult your clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will collaborate across teams (Sales, Operations, Product) to focus client-facing efforts, identifying systemic issues and pioneering innovative solutions.
- Pitching & Presentation: You will build and deliver compelling demonstrations, data-heavy presentations, and renewal pitches.
What do we need from you?
- Experience: 4+ years of client-facing experience (preferably in a B2B environment with large enterprise clients); consulting experience; or high-level project management experience.
- The "Hustler" Mentality: You are hungry to learn, adaptable, and eager to exceed client expectations in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Solution-Oriented: You always look for innovative ways to make things work rather than finding reasons why they won’t.
- Project Mastery: Proven experience managing and/or supporting complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different departments.
- Analytical Rigor: You have a strong analytical mindset and use data to inform every decision; familiarity with Excel is required.
- Consultative Approach: You have a natural desire to understand your client’s unique pain points and work tirelessly to find a solution that fits their specific business model.
- Tech Savvy: You are comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace to create high-impact presentations and conduct deep-dive analysis.
