We are currently seeking an additional Yard Operative for our Shropham depot.
Location and Details
Shropham, Attleborough, UK • Full Time
Responsibilities
- Unloading and loading lorries.
- Assisting with machinery for hire.
- Housekeeping of the depot.
- Refuelling and cleaning of generators and equipment.
- Checking equipment being returned from hire.
- Completion of paperwork.
- Delivery of equipment to customer sites as required.
- Organising the warehouse and stock.
Requirements
- Physically fit as the role involves heavy lifting.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Valid forklift licence preferred; in-house training available for the right candidate.
- Interest in mechanical/electrical work.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience in a yard role (preferred).
Hours and Pay
- Hours: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:30 with flexibility to suit business needs.
- Pay: From £12.44 per hour.
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required.
