We are looking for a highly organised and meticulous Fuel Management Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our fuel supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry regulations.

Location: Shropham, Attleborough, UK

Position type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage fuel inventories, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate fuel deliveries and maintain accurate records of fuel usage.
  • Analyse fuel consumption patterns and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure favourable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and safety regulations.
  • Implement and maintain fuel management software systems.
  • Develop and enforce fuel usage policies and procedures.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting fuel expenses.
  • Provide support and training to staff on fuel management practices.

Knowledge / Skills Required:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Proven experience in fuel management or a similar administrative role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with fuel management software
  • PC literate in Word and Excel
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to fuel management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
  • Analysis skills: 1 year (required)
