We are currently seeking an additional Yard Operative for our Shropham depot.
The main duties will be:
– Unloading and loading lorries.
– Assisting with machinery for hire.
– Housekeeping of the depot.
– Refuelling and cleaning of generators and equipment.
– Checking equipment being returned from hire.
– Completion of paperwork.
– Delivery of equipment to customer sites as required.
– Organising the warehouse and stock.
You will need to be physically fit as this role involves heavy lifting and is very hands on.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a positive attitude. Ideally already have a valid fork-lift licence but in-house training will be provided for the right candidate.
This role would be suited to someone with mechanical/electrical interests.
Hours of work are typically Mon- Fri 08.00-17.30, however flexibility to suit the demands of the business is required.
Pay: From £12.44 per hour
