We are actively recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer for a successful and established business in Manchester. As Refrigeration Engineer, you will mainly be working in the North West area.
Duties:
- Breakdown and service calls, PPM and reactive maintenance
- Liaising with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- You will be working in the food & hospitality sectors e.g. food outlets, pubs, cafes, health & education establishments e.g. university sites, hospitals & colleges
- You will be mobile and predominantly be working within a 50-mile radius of Manchester on a daily basis
Salary: Negotiable OTE £45,000-£55,000 + call out allowance + performance bonuses (all dependent on experience)
Additional Benefits:
- Door to door pay (none of the half hour each way or deductions for travel time)
- Contracted to a 40 hour working week
- Overtime paid after 40 hours at rates of 1.5x / 2x
- 33 days holiday per annum

The ideal candidate must have experience in:
- All aspects of commercial and integral refrigeration equipment; remote cold-rooms & freezer rooms, cellar cooling equipment etc.
- A 'general knowledge' of water chilled applications
- Aspects of air conditioning, such as split, multi-split & VRV/RF's
Requirements:
- FGAS 2079
- Full UK driving licence
- Good fault finding skills
- Honest, punctual and trustworthy
- Takes pride in their work
- Participate in standby on a rota basis
- Installation experience preferred (but not essential)
