We are actively recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for an established business in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. This is a permanent full time Monday to Friday opportunity. The hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm.
We seek an experienced and extremely organised Warehouse Manager with overall responsibility for all warehouse operations. You must be able to work under pressure and pay careful attention to detail. You will be required to lead a group of staff and manage the allocation of work on a daily basis. You will be expected to provide the best possible service whilst ensuring a smooth operation at all times. You must be able to forward plan and maintain faultless administration of all warehouse operations. You will also be required, when necessary, to be hands on in the warehouse.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensure the warehouse runs efficiently by managing a wide variety of processes across goods in, internal stock movement and goods out.
- Manage the communication between the warehouse and other departments such as stock control, sales, production and logistics.
- Own and maintain an auditable end-to-end process that enables robust stock control and order processing.
- Manage and maintain a fleet of vans, including the possibility of acquiring a 7.5t vehicle and managing an operator's licence.
- Ensure accurate completion of all scheduled audits and stock checks.
