We are actively recruiting for a Refrigeration Service Engineer for a successful and established business in Manchester. As Refrigeration Service Engineer, you will mainly be working in the Manchester area.

Duties:

  • Breakdown and service calls, PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Liaising with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • You will be working in the food & hospitality sectors e.g. food outlets, pubs, cafes, health & education establishments e.g. university sites, hospitals & colleges

Salary: Negotiable *OTE £45,000-£55,000* + call out allowance + performance bonuses (all dependant on experience)

Additional Benefits:

  • Door to door pay (none of the half hour each way or deductions for travel time)
  • Contracted to a 40 hour working week
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours
  • Overtime rates @ 1.5x / 2x
  • 33 days holiday per annum

The ideal candidate must have experience of working in the following:

  • All aspects of commercial and integral refrigeration equipment; remote cold-rooms & freezer rooms, cellar cooling equipment etc with a 'general knowledge' of water chilled applications.
  • Aspects of air conditioning, such as split, multi-split & VRV/RF's.

Requirements:

  • FGAS 2079
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good fault finding skills
  • Honest, punctual and trustworthy
  • Takes pride in their work
  • Participate in standby on a rota basis
  • Installation experience preferred (but not essential)
