We are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor who possesses manufacturing experience. In this critical role, you will be responsible for advising on all aspects of H driving, manual handling, first aid and fire safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices across the business.
- Supporting the Training Co-ordinator with the operational delivery of Health and Safety training by identifying and closing gaps in training.
- Ensuring that training programmes and materials remain up to date and in line with industry best practice and align to the requirements of the business accrediting bodies.
- Maintaining the occupational health and safety and environmental management systems.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for the following in you:
- Qualified member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
- Qualified to a high standard by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH).
- Experience in the development of Safety and Environmental Management plans and cases.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO 45001.
