Do you want more than just a job? Do you want to be part of a business that is growing thoughtfully, values quality over shortcuts, and genuinely cares about its people and customers? STSUK is a well-established and growing building services business with a clear purpose: to do the right things, right for our customers, our engineers, and our team. We are now looking for a Maintenance & Installations Co-ordinator to join us at an exciting stage of growth.
This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to develop with a business that will invest in them.
The role
Initially, you will work closely with our Operations Manager, helping to review and strengthen how we deliver our maintenance and installation services. Once fully trained, you will take ownership of the day-to-day planning and coordination of a team of engineers, ensuring work is scheduled efficiently and delivered to a consistently high standard.
You will be the central point of contact between customers, engineers and suppliers, keeping everyone informed, supported and confident that work is being managed professionally from start to finish. Communication, organisation and calm decision-making are at the heart of this role.
What you'll be doing
- Planning and coordinating maintenance and installation works
- Managing engineers daily diaries to ensure jobs are completed on time and to standard
- Building strong, professional relationships with customers and engineers
- Handling customer enquiries with care, clarity and confidence
- Supporting continuous improvement in how our operational delivery works
- Taking part in training and development as the role evolves
This is a key position within the business, with scope to grow as the company grows.
About you
You are organised, confident and people-focused. You care about doing a good job and take pride in delivering work properly. You enjoy working as part of a team, but you're also comfortable taking responsibility and using your initiative.
You're likely to thrive in this role if you:
- Enjoy planning, problem-solving and bringing structure to busy environments
- Communicate clearly and professionally with people at all levels
- Stay calm under pressure and adapt well to change
- Have experience in a coordination, planning or customer-focused role
- Are keen to learn, develop and take on more responsibility over time
Experience within maintenance, installation, building services or engineering environments is helpful, but attitude, values and potential matter just as much.
Why join STSUK?
We don't believe in people being just a number. You will be trusted, supported and expected to contribute; your ideas and input genuinely matter.
What we offer:
- Β£30,000 salary (40 hours per week)
- Contributory pension scheme
- Private medical insurance with gym discounts
- Progressive holiday allowance starting at 31 days (including bank holidays and your birthday), rising to 40 days
- Up to 150 hours of formal training per year, regardless of experience
- Company events and a supportive, values-led culture
- Genuine opportunities to progress as the business continues to grow
- Free on-site parking
