STS Aviation Services is hiring B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers in Manchester, United Kingdom for contract opportunities starting in September 2026.
This role supports our commercial winter programme at the Manchester base and is built for licensed engineers who know how to lead maintenance activity, certify work within company approvals and keep aircraft moving safely, efficiently and correctly.
We are looking for engineers with current UK CAA B2 licensing and type certification on the Boeing 737 MAX, Airbus A320 or both.

This is an opportunity to join our Manchester facility and play a key role in supporting scheduled and unscheduled base maintenance activity across major commercial aircraft platforms.

Aircraft Type Ratings
We are looking for B2 UK CAA Licensed Engineers with current type certification on the following aircraft:
- Boeing 737 MAX
- Airbus A320
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer aircraft to include all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and certification of maintenance within the scope of company approvals.
- Provide leadership and supervision of aircraft mechanics and support staff, leading the standards of maintenance execution by example.
- Ensure aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner to the customer’s full satisfaction for on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability.
Skills and Experience
- Part 66 CAA Licence, B2.
- Current CAA Type Certification on the Boeing 737 MAX or Airbus A320.
- Previous base maintenance experience.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.
