STS Aviation Services is hiring B1 Licensed Engineers in Manchester, United Kingdom. These are contract opportunities supporting commercial winter programmes at our Manchester base, with a planned September 2026 start date. We are looking for UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licensed Engineers with current type certification on the Boeing 737 MAX or Airbus A320.

Position Overview
STS Aviation Services is recruiting B1 UK CAA Licensed Engineers to join our Manchester facility on a contract basis. Successful candidates will support commercial aircraft maintenance programmes, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certification activity and the supervision of aircraft mechanics and support staff.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customers aircraft to include all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and certification of maintenance within the scope of company approvals.
- Provide leadership and supervision of aircraft mechanics and support staff, leading the standards of maintenance execution by example.
- Ensure the aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner to customers full satisfaction for on time performance and technical dispatch reliability.
Skills And Experience
- Part 66 CAA Licence, B1.
- Current CAA Type Certification in the following aircraft: Boeing 737 MAX or Airbus A320.
- Previous base maintenance experience.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.
