STS Aviation Services is hiring a Health & Safety Officer in Manchester, United Kingdom. As STS Aviation Services continues to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Officer to support our team at Manchester Airport. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Head of Safety Management. In this role, you will help shape the future of our health and safety programs while supporting operations at one of the UK’s most exciting aviation hubs.

Responsibilities- Support and advise STS Aviation Services UK Ltd. on Health and Safety at all UK locations
- Monitor and improve health and safety standards, communications, systems, and training
- Promote a workplace culture that prioritises safety and reduces health risks
- Work with HSE Managers to ensure compliance with UK statutory safety and welfare regulations
- Assist Managers with regular reviews of risk assessments for all operations and equipment
- Document, investigate, and support the implementation of improvements following workplace incidents
- Ensure proper execution of safety inspections, fire drills, and lone working protocols
- Help deliver updated health and safety policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate safety records and training documentation
- Stay current with UK legislation related to health, safety, and welfare and communicate updates internally
- Participate in monthly safety meetings to report on HSE metrics and updates
- IOSH Managing Safely certification (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
