STS Aviation Services is rapidly expanding and we are looking for experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team at our Manchester Hangar.
Important: Applicants MUST be either citizens of the United Kingdom or possess valid work authorization for the UK, with at least two years remaining before the expiration date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove major aircraft structural sections while ensuring stress jacking.
- Follow manufacturer’s drawings and SRMs to implement modifications.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety at all times.
- Work to fine tolerances and ensure all work meets high-quality standards.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Completed aircraft engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years’ aircraft and structures experience.
- Strong experience in an aircraft modification/production environment.
- Ability to read and follow manufacturer drawings and procedures.
- Excellent hand skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ownership of tasks.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
