STS Aviation Services is growing fast, and we are looking for skilled B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join our team in Manchester. This is an exciting time to be part of our journey as the leading UK MRO. Position Overview
We are recruiting B1 UKCAA Licensed Engineers to join our Manchester Line Station. Both permanent and contract positions are available. We are especially interested in engineers with type ratings on the Boeing 737 NG & MAX.
Applicants must either be citizens of the United Kingdom or currently hold valid work authorisation for the UK with at least two years remaining before expiration.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer aircraft, including all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and certification of maintenance within the scope of company approvals
- Provide leadership and supervision of aircraft mechanics and support staff, setting the standard of maintenance execution by example
- Ensure aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting customer expectations for on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability
Skills and Experience
- Part 66 CAA License, B1
- Previous line maintenance experience
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and remain flexible to meet changing requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
