STS Aviation Services is expanding operations in Manchester, United Kingdom, and we are seeking experienced B1 UK CAA Licensed Engineers to join our growing line maintenance team. This is an opportunity to play a key role within one of the fastest growing MRO organisations in the UK.

Applicants must be UK Citizens or hold valid UK work authorisation with a minimum of two years remaining before expiry.
The Role
As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and certification of customer aircraft within the scope of company approvals. You will lead by example on the line, ensuring all maintenance activity meets regulatory, safety, and operational standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance within company approvals
- Certify maintenance in accordance with Part 145 and regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership and supervision to aircraft mechanics and support staff
- Ensure maintenance activity is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer satisfaction
- Support on time performance and technical dispatch reliability
Required Skills and Experience
- UK CAA Part 66 Licence, B1
- Current CAA type ratings on one or more of the following:
- Boeing 737 NG
- Boeing 737 MAX
- Airbus A319, A320, A321
- Previous base maintenance experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing operational environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational capability
- Full UK driving licence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
