Location: Field-based, South UK. At Stryker, we’re driven to make healthcare better. Our Public Access business provides world-class Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and lifesaving solutions that help create heart-safe communities and workplaces across the UK & Ireland. We’re now looking for a Sales Business Manager to grow and develop our Public Access portfolio within the South of the UK.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (UK & Ireland), you’ll be responsible for driving sustainable business growth across both direct and indirect (3rd-party distributor) channels. You’ll manage existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new opportunities, consistently delivering against financial and strategic objectives. This is a highly visible, field-based role offering autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on public safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales within your territory in line with regional strategy and targets
- Develop and execute a robust territory and account sales plan, presenting recommendations to management for approval
- Maximise sales opportunities across the full sales cycle—from product introduction and demonstrations through to negotiation and contract closure
- Identify, map, and engage key decision-makers (clinical, administrative, and economic), key opinion leaders, and referral points
- Strengthen and expand existing customer accounts while actively developing new business
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with stakeholders involved in the purchasing process
- Work closely with distributor partners to drive aligned growth and performance
- Attend and represent Stryker at key industry events, exhibitions, and congresses
- Provide high-quality technical product support in line with territory guidelines
- Deliver effective product training and education using Stryker’s tools and resources
- Continuously develop knowledge of products, technology, market trends, and sales processes

What You’ll Need
- Proven success in a sales role (Diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred)
- Experience managing indirect or distributor sales channels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience within the medical device or regulated healthcare environment (preferred)
- Confident, persuasive, and resilient approach to sales
- High levels of self-motivation, patience, and persistence
- Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to change
- Strong teamwork and networking skills
- Principal residence within the sales territory
- Full, valid UK driving licence
